The short version of the Officium returns policy — what is returnable, what is not, and what condition a product must be in to qualify.
Thirty days from delivery, unused, in original packaging.
Standard-line products — products purchased at their published size, finish, and specification, with no custom modification — may be returned within thirty (30) days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price.
To qualify, the product must be unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by the order receipt. Return shipping is paid by the buyer. Officium refunds the original product cost once the return has been received and verified at the bench.
Final sale. Built to your specification.
Products ordered to a custom size, finish, monogram, hardware, or other specification are not returnable. Each customized product is built once, to your order, and cannot be resold.
If a customized product does not match the specification recorded on the order, Officium will repair, replace, or refund it. Contact us within thirty days of delivery and we will work it out on the bench.
Normal use is normal.
Leather is a natural material. It darkens with handling, lightens where it catches the sun, picks up marks from the desk it lives on, and softens where the hands hold it. None of that is damage; it is the patina forming.
Officium does not accept returns for changes in appearance that result from normal use of the product. If a product fails structurally outside of normal wear and tear, contact us and we will look at it on the bench.
